How do you apply bronzer?

I’ll rarely reach for bronzer specifically, but I use a more bronzer-like shade for a soft sculpting and warming effect when I don’t know what blush to pair with a look. I’ll just apply it to the tops of my cheeks or more like a cheek contour.
