What kind of wear and longevity do you look for in an eyeshadow? What's most/least important?

I like an eyeshadow that lasts for 8-9 hours quite well on its own, so then I can use primer to get to 10-12 hours without much issue. As long as it fades more evenly without too much fallout or creasing, I’m good.
