Pastel
Natasha Denona Pastel 15-Pan Small Eyeshadow Palette ($65.00 for 0.67 oz.) is a new, limited edition mid-sized pastel-hued palette from Natasha Denona. For a pastel palette, it was very workable and performed well, but against the brand’s typical quality, there were some shades that fell short for sure. I found the cream-powder finishes in the palette to be less cream-like, and therefore not as dense/emollient, compared to past releases, which some may prefer or find deal-breaking.

Tulle (422CP)
Tulle (422CP) is a medium pink with subtle, warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. The product had a cream-powder finish, which picked up like a powder but seemed to settle on my skin more like a cream–more seamless. It had rich pigmentation that wore well for nine hours on me before showing signs of fading.

Formula Overview
-
The majority of the brand's eyeshadows are quite pigmented, blendable, and long-wearing. The eyeshadows have improved over time, particularly with respect to longevity (without a primer). The original formula often creased on me within seven to eight hours, whereas the more current formula wears eight to nine hours with fading (instead of full-on creasing). The more matte finishes tend to be a bit more velvety, substantial, and less dry/powdery compared to prior iterations.
The metallic finish is often the creamiest, slightly denser in feel, but has excellent pigmentation, adhesion, and blendability. The sparkling shades can have some fallout, depending on how they're applied and how sparkly they are, so they sometimes work better with fingertips or a dampened brush; they can also run sheerer compared to other finishes.
Cream-Powders are the more unique formulation and tend to have firmer, almost stiff, consistencies and more semi-opaque, watercolor-esque coverage. They are longer-wearing, but they can take a few uses to learn how to use. This formula has also improved compared to when it first debuted--it is a bit more yielding now.

Bubble (430CP) is a light, periwinkle blue with strong, cool undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had semi-opaque, somewhat buildable coverage that wore well for nine hours on me before showing signs of fading.

Limoncello (169M)
Limoncello (169M) is a light-medium yellow with moderate, warm undertones and a metallic finish. It had rich pigmentation that adhered evenly to bare skin and blended out well, thanks to its smooth, lightly dense texture. It lasted well for nine hours before fading noticeably.

Airy (432CM)
Airy (432CM) is a pale, sky blue with cooler undertones and a matte finish. The texture was soft, somewhat powdery, and on the thinner side compared to most of the brand’s matte eyeshadows these days, which resulted in more semi-sheer color coverage with light fallout, though it was somewhat buildable. I would pair this with a primer for best results. It wore well for seven hours on me before showing signs of fading.
