UOMA Beauty Royal Heir-itage Black Magic Color Palette ($44.00 for 0.42 oz.) is a new, limited edition palette that included five matte eyeshadows and five shimmer eyeshadows. The formula of the shimmery eyeshadows stood out to me as they were more emollient, almost cream-like, but the retained that slip when applied to skin, so it wasn’t a true cream-to-powder formula. They had a more intense shine, and while many were sparkly, there was very little fallout to worry over as the more emollient formula helped everything adhere to bare skin.

Ile Ife is a light-medium peach with strong, warm undertones and a bright, sparkling metallic finish. It was richly pigmented with a cream-like texture that was smooth, thin (but not in a bad way), and felt emollient to the touch. The eyeshadow had great adhesion to bare skin, which ensured that those pretty sparkles didn’t get lost or dropped off the lid during application. It wore nicely for eight and a half hours before creasing.

Mali is a brighter, medium pink base that seemed slightly cooler-toned paired with a lot of warmer, peachy gold sparkle. It had semi-opaque, buildable color coverage with a particularly intense finish that was heavy on the sparkle, so it looked more opaque in practice (even if the base seemed sheerer). The texture was more cream-like, dense to the touch, but the actual product was thinner on my lid, though not in a bad way. It stayed on well for eight hours and a half hours with very minimal fallout over time.

Axum is a bright, medium gold with strong, warm undertones and an intense, metallic finish paired with faint sparkle. It had an almost wet-to-the-touch feel as it was silky and emollient to the touch, but it was thin and still felt and performed like a powder once it came into contact with my skin.
