Riviera Cruisin'
ColourPop Riviera Cruisin’ Shadow Stix Set ($20.00 for 0.08 oz.) includes four, twist-up eyeshadows in pencil format. They can also be purchased individually for $6 a pop. I imagine we’ll see more of this formula in the coming months, but thus far, it was a mixed bag with respect to pigmentation, texture, and application.
Riviera Cruisin'
LELimited Edition.
Cool Breeze
Cool Breeze is a bright, medium gold with moderate, warm undertones and a metallic finish. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation with a moderately creamy texture that had glide but didn’t feel particularly wet, so it wasn’t slippery to work with and didn’t settle into creases as it was drying down.
The product applied fairly evenly, but I needed to use a brush to get it to diffuse evenly as fingertips tended to pull up product as it dried down very quickly. It stayed on decently for seven hours before creasing slightly.

Formula Overview
$0.02/6 oz. - $0.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be "ultra pigmented" in "one swipe" while being "long wearing" and "water-resistant." There are two finishes: matte and metallic, and the initial release included two shades from each finish, so the overview is based on those four shades, which is not a ton of shades to go off of!
One of the four pencils was drier, stiffer, and was prone to the point snapping off during application. The other three were creamier with the metallic shades being more emollient than the remaining matte shade. The pigmentation varied from shade to shade; it ranged from medium to opaque with some being more buildable than others.
The performance was more consistent with three of the four shades applying comfortably with somewhat even initial layers. They were blendable for five to 10 seconds before they dried down to more budge-proof finish. They didn't feel heavy or clingy on my lids, and while they were creamy, they did not feel slippery as they were drying down so they did not settle into fine lines or creases during the dry down.
I was able to apply them directly from the pencil to my eye area, but I found a brush gave me a more even application and helped me blend out the product without losing some of the coverage compared to application with a fingertip. The shades lasted between six and eight hours before creasing on me.

Cool Breeze
LELimited Edition. $0.02.
Citrus Squeeze
Citrus Squeeze is a rich marigold with warm, more orange undertones and lighter, more golden pearl that gave it a metallic finish. The texture was very emollient–it nearly skated off my arm when I first swatched as it had so much more glide compared to the first shade I tried–but was still quicker to set where working one eye at a time was ideal.
It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation that layered fairly evenly, though it was imperfect close-up and looked slightly sheered out as well. There was creasing after six and a half hours of wear.

Citrus Squeeze
LELimited Edition. $0.02.
Check Please
Check Please is a medium brown with warmer, more orange undertones and a matte finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single stroke, which built up evenly when layered or applied as a larger area of color. The texture was lightly creamy, smooth, and wasn’t prone to tugging on my skin but didn’t settle into fine lines as it dried down.
It set fairly quickly, so I’d recommend working one eye at a time and/or using a fluffy brush to diffuse the edge, which gave me a few more seconds to work compared to fingertips. It wore well for seven hours before creasing.

Style and Ease
Style and Ease is a faded, medium-dark blue with cool undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-sheer pigmentation, which did not build up well as it was a drier, stiffer texture that just seemed to push product around rather than actually build up on itself. It was difficult to apply comfortably–easiest to use it as an eyeliner–and it was almost immediately “set” when applied, which made blending a nightmare. It creased after six and a half hours of wear.
