Tower 28 Fearless ShineOn Jelly Lip Gloss Tower 28 Fearless ShineOn Jelly Lip Gloss ($14.00 for 0.13 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark berry with subtle, cool undertones and a jelly-like finish with lots of shine. It had sheer color coverage, which was as described, that applied fairly evenly across my lips but settled very slightly into my deeper lip lines–not noticeable in person, though. The texture was lightweight, smooth, and substantial, so it felt a bit more gel-like in that respect, but it wasn’t thick or tacky. It lasted for two hours but was hydrating over time.

Formula Overview

The formula is supposed to have the "shine of a gloss" with the "comfort of a balm" and a "touch of juicy translucent color." It has a smooth, non-sticky texture that has more of a cream-gel like feel, as there was a more substantial, slightly thicker consistency but it wasn't heavy to wear.

The coverage was mostly sheer with most shades applying evenly and smoothly without settling noticeably into lip lines. They lasted between two and three hours and were hydrating over time. It had a creamy, sweet and lightly fruity scent--almost reminded me of salt water taffy in some sort of fruit flavor.

It had sheer to semi-sheer pigmentation that applied evenly across my lips and didn’t emphasize my lip lines noticeably. The texture was smooth, spreadable, and lightweight without being tacky or too thin, so it was comfortable and plush to wear. It wore well for two hours, so it was shorter-wearing, but it was very moisturizing over time.

The gloss had a smooth, non-sticky consistency that was light-medium in thickness but comfortable and lightweight to wear. The product had good dispersion of the shimmer/sparkle that delivered sheer to semi-sheer “coverage” overall. It stayed on well for two hours and felt hydrating while worn.
