Nah–Black Friday 2020 beauty deals are being shared by brands already, and some brands have even run Black Friday previews in advance (or will!), knowing that more people will be shopping online than last year. We’ve started to compile a continuously-updated list of Black Friday and Cyber Monday beauty deals for the upcoming holiday season.
This year, Black Friday is November 27th and Cyber Monday is November 30th, but you can expect a slew of deals going live between now and then. Typically, there are pre-Black Friday deals that will begin Monday, November 23rd.

What is Black Friday 2020?
Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving (which is November 26th), so Black Friday 2020 falls in November 27th, 2020 this year. It’s a popular day for brands and retailers to launch mega sales and promotions geared to get your holiday gift-giving dollars. More and more brands participate each year, which can make it overwhelming to know when to shop or whether a deal is really good. That increased competition has given way to Cyber Week 2020, which kicks off November 23rd, 2020 and marks when most of the earlier sales begin, through Cyber Monday 2020 on November 30th.
What are the best Black Friday and Cyber Monday beauty deals for 2020?
You’ll want to bookmark this post for periodic updates, though you’ll find more compelling sales and discounts are usually at the top of any page you may visit. This post automatically updates as brands share their beauty sales and deals with us or we’re allowed to share information–many brands will embargo the information until the sale begins.
Sephora Black Friday 2020 deals are likely to revolve around doorbuster deals, which are typically priced from $10 to $20 (mostly $15) across a dozen or so different sets or travel-sized products, which will be available for purchase beginning November 27th. We expect Sephora will give us a sneak preview around November 19th! For this retailer, their “big” holiday promo is their Beauty Insider Event, which is going on now through November 9th — 20% off (Rouges), 15% off (VIBs), and 10% off (Insiders) with code HOLIDAYFUN.
Ulta Black Friday 2020 deals include limited kits and products for $10 to $20 along with select bestselling products and brands up to 50% off and will go live on November 27th. We expect the preview of Black Friday offerings to go live around Monday, November 23rd (see last year’s offerings). Ulta Cyber Monday 2020 deals typically include select products at up to 50% off along with brand and category discounts. Last year, there was a $10 off $50+ purchase code along with $20 eReward Gift Cards for every $100 spent.

Black Friday Shopping Tips
- Make your list! (And check it twice!) It’s better to go into a plethora of sales having a game plan of what items you’ve been looking for, what you need for yourself or as gifts for others. This also helps to avoid impulse purchases or getting sidetracked by a good deal on something you didn’t really want!
- Compare offers! Products can be purchased from brands directly, which is often the best deal, but sometimes retailers have better incentives, lower free shipping thresholds, and the like. You’ll also want to check Black Friday vs. Cyber Monday offers when brands have revealed both, since sometimes one is better than the other!
- If it’s too good to be true… prepare to cyber-camp for the deal. If you’re hours late to the deal, things can get sold out or picked through quite a bit, so if you have your list ready, and you’re ready to go when the deal goes live, it shouldn’t be too frustrating!
- Mark your calendar! Most brands and retailers run on EST, and a lot of deals go live midnight EST but occasionally brands launch at PST (Sephora is often one, and Ulta runs on CST). When in doubt, try at midnight EST and if nothing launches, then it’s likely midnight PST.
