Dominique Cosmetics Cold Heart Beautiful Mess Liquid Eyeshadow ($20.00 for 0.27 oz.) is a light-medium blue base with flecks of cooler gold sparkle throughout. It had a more frosted finish to its base, which was prone to emphasizing lid texture and getting chunky if built up (which the formula was supposed to do!). The texture was thin, more watery, and was one of the hardest to apply with any sense of evenness from the range.
It had sheer, uneven coverage that dried down fairly quickly and set in place for all-day wear (10 hours without fading/creasing). If I tried to apply a second or third layer for greater opacity, the product looked uneven in thickness and was more prone to flaking/cracking a bit. I’d recommend using a fluffy, synthetic brush to diffuse it all over the lid… and it’s best if you’re someone who wants a bit of a “beautiful mess” on the lids.

The formula is supposed to be "blendable, buildable, [and] fool-proof" and is available in three finishes. The formula varied wildly from shade to shade with respect to consistency, pigmentation, application, and longevity... It's extremely inconsistent to the point where I'm not sure why the brand released these together and/or didn't provide more accurate breakdown of each shade.
Most shades dried down fairly quickly and set in place for a transfer-resistant and long-wearing finish, but the struggle came in when they were layered--built up in coverage as marketed--and became thicker, more uneven, and then I experienced a bit of flaking. The sheerer shades tended to apply more unevenly, so it took some effort to apply and diffuse while retaining coverage (a fingertip often absorbed half the product applied!). I found a fluffy, synthetic brush tended to work best to diffuse and soften the layer of product without creating more unevenness or patchiness.
The formula was more watery than not, though one shade, Shy Girl, was very much the outlier as it was opaque in a single layer, thicker, and applied quite evenly. The other shades were varying degrees of sheer, harder to build up, uneven application, and were generally fussier to work with.

Electric Soul
Dominique Cosmetics Electric Soul Beautiful Mess Liquid Eyeshadow ($20.00 for 0.27 oz.) has a transparent base with multichromatic shimmer that shifted from golden green to brighter green to lavender. The shift was subtle compared to the multichrome products I’ve tried in the past, but the transparent base made it more forgiving (compared to a black base).
It had sheer coverage, which could be built up slightly, but I would not apply more than two layers (medium coverage) because a third layer (semi-opaque coverage) made it physically uneven in thickness and resulted in some flaking during wear. The consistency was thin, watery but applied more smoothly (with respect to thickness), though it was harder to get an even layer of product. The high-shine, more metallic finish made the imperfections in application less noticeable from a normal viewing distance, thankfully.
It lasted for 10 hours without fading or flaking on me, as long as I kept it to no more than two layers. I’d recommend using the included-applicator to get an initial layer of coverage, let it dry slightly, and then use a fluffy, synthetic brush to even out the layer a bit.

Pretty Wild
Dominique Cosmetics Pretty Wild Beautiful Mess Liquid Eyeshadow ($20.00 for 0.27 oz.) had a transparent base and a metallic shimmer that shifted from warm, lighter green to warmer gold to copper. The shimmer was larger in size, so it had a chunkier finish compared to Electric Soul. It had more medium coverage in a single layer, which was somewhat buildable, but it was fussy to work with to get an even layer of product that actually looked even, too.
The watery, thin texture was prone to looking streaky, as the included applicator was an absolute nightmare to use as it pushed around the shimmer and left bald patches. I’d bypass the applicator entirely when working with this shade as it just made life miserable. The best method I came across was using a flat, synthetic brush to pick up product and then gently pressed the product onto my lid. I let it dry for a few seconds and then used a fluffy, synthetic brush to gently diffuse and blend the product together without disturbing it too much.
Once it dried down, it wore for 10 hours without fading/flaking, though I’d be careful applying second or third layers as it was more prone to flaking and emphasizing lid texture (with noticeable chunkiness) when layered up… so it was not a particularly buildable formula in experience–at least not practically.
