It had nearly opaque pigmentation with a soft, velvety texture that was lightly powdery but not prone to sheering out or dropping fallout during application. The eyeshadow applied well over bare skin and blended out easily along the edges. It stayed on well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

It had good color coverage that adhered well to bare skin as the color applied evenly and blended out well along the edges without causing it to lose its intensity or coverage.
The consistency was soft, smooth, and more velvety without being dense–it was like a hybrid between a firmer matte and a very powdery matte with better slip and adhesion. There were signs of fading present after eight hours of wear.

The texture was soft, lightly powdery in the pan, but it blended out with and built up well, which made it easy to work with. It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.

MAC Give a Glam Powder Kiss Soft Matte Eyeshadow ($20.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a deep brown with cooler undertones and a matte finish. It was intensely pigmented with a soft, smooth texture that felt more velvety and had a definite glide to it–not powdery at all but not dense either–that was easy to work with.
